Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team in the Liverpool area. You will travel between developments delivering personal care and domestic support, with a focus on companionship and wellbeing for homeowners.

Role requires a valid UK driving licence and access to a car, with exact hours on a rota including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends. We offer training, mileage reimbursement and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care environment is preferred, Level 2 Health and Social Care.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Driving licence is required for field-based travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including help with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Maintain communal areas and offer domestic support (cleaning, shopping, household tasks).
• Assist with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to support wellbeing.
