Job summary

Community Housing Limited is hiring a part-time Responsive Maintenance Officer to keep CHL properties safe, functional and ready for residents. You will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator, performing hands-on tasks and coordinating contractor works.

You will manage responsive repairs, liaise with contractors, and contribute to asset management initiatives while upholding CHL values and safety standards. Flexible hours and a supportive, inclusive culture are offered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee responsive repairs and maintenance of vacated properties, delivering consistent standards across CHL homes.
• Undertake onsite maintenance work and support asset management projects.
• Liaise with internal teams, technical consultants and contractors to keep maintenance moving.
• Work with contractors to meet KPIs and monitor progress against priorities.
• Support CHL asset policies and budgets, ensuring safe, compliant operations.
• Follow WHS requirements and contribute to safety improvements.
