Job summary

MyPeople Disability and Support in Maitland NSW is seeking caring cleaners to provide high-quality domestic cleaning services to elderly clients in their homes, ensuring privacy and dignity. Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing and sanitising bathrooms and kitchens, changing sheets, sorting laundry, and general housekeeping.

A current NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory; a valid driver’s license and access to a car are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning residential homes.
• Able to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of infection control and OH&S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Dusting ceilings, walls, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Scrubbing and sanitising toilets, sinks, and kitchens.
• Emptying rubbish bins.
• Stripping beds, changing sheets, and making beds.
• Sorting & folding clothing.
• General housekeeping.
