Job summary

Civic Disability Services is seeking a Financial Analyst to analyse financial and operational data to support strategic decisions and sustainable growth. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will develop forecasts, budgets and financial models and present insights to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with operational teams to identify drivers, risks and opportunities, deliver dashboards, and ensure management reporting reflects performance against plans with clarity and integrity.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build financial models and management reports.
• Strong data interpretation and storytelling with data.
• Excellent Excel skills and advanced modelling experience.
• Experience communicating insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to develop forecasts, budgets and scenarios.
• Experience working with large data sets and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Develop forecasts, budgets and financial models to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights for better outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to optimise revenue and efficiency and improve financial performance.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations communicating performance.
• Monitor variances against budgets and forecasts and explain causes.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, audit and strategic planning processes.
• Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools.
