Job summary

Civic Disability Services is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team in Sydney. This role partners with operational leaders, providing financial insights, budgeting, forecasting and performance commentary to support strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will develop dashboards and financial tools, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to month-end/year-end processes and audit support.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CA or CPA qualification completed or nearing completion.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management accounting, commercial finance, business partnering or financial analysis roles.
• Demonstrated experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management reports and financial analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial information into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational and corporate leaders to provide financial guidance and support informed decision-making.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and performance commentary.
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
• Analyse financial and operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Prepare business cases, financial models and investment appraisals to support strategic initiatives.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support managers to understand financial performance, risks and opportunities within their areas of responsibility.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
• Support audit processes and compliance reporting.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and financial tools that improve business insight and decision-making.
