Job summary

The NSW Department of Education seeks a Training Advisor in Parramatta to support vocational education and training delivery for the community, apprentices, trainees and their employers.

This ongoing full-time role requires travel within Sydney and adherence to regulatory requirements; WWCC clearance is essential for paid employment. Salary ranges from $102,936 to $113,576 plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Qualifications

• Experience in the VET sector with focus on apprenticeships/traineeships.
• Ability to monitor and enforce regulatory, contractual, and statutory requirements across employers, students and RTOs.
• Strong interpersonal and advisory skills for guidance on skills recognition, training pathways and apprenticeship progression.
• Commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and partnerships with NSW AECG.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of vocational education and training programs to the community, apprentices, trainees and employers.
• Provide guidance on training pathways and apprenticeship progression.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements across stakeholders.
