Job summary

Physioshop Boyne Island is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our friendly allied health team with flexible options to suit the right person. Casual or part-time roles are based at the Boyne Island clinic, while full-time positions may span Physioshop Boyne Island and Physio and Fitness Gladstone.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Exercise Physiology.
• ESSA accreditation or eligibility for accreditation.
• Genuine interest in improving health, function and quality of life.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good organisational skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and develop individualized, evidence-based exercise programs.
• Deliver one-on-one and group exercise sessions.
• Help clients achieve functional, rehabilitation, health and fitness goals.
• Work closely with Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.
• Build positive, long-term relationships with clients and referrers.
• Contribute to growth and development of Exercise Physiology services.
