Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking expressions of interest for a temporary leadership role in Supply Chain and Subcontracts Management. The position focuses on strengthening Australia's sovereign industrial capability by overseeing the supply chain and subcontracting activities for a major program, while coordinating with defence, industry partners and suppliers.

The role emphasizes governance, stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision making, with a strong focus on AIC commitments and ACE

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, business, commerce or related discipline.
• Strong experience in management of supply chain and subcontracts, including suppliers.
• Experience with Australian Industry Capability (AIC) management.
• Experience working in Defence, Government or other regulated industries.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and monitor performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Australian Government Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the supply chain function for a major program and the associated subcontracts and suppliers.
• Manage the delivery of Australian Industry Capability (AIC), Sovereign Sustainment and Supply Chain Industry Development initiatives.
• Lead engagement activities, including supply chain forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage, monitor and report on AIC commitments, ACE obligations, and supply chain performance.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, industry partners and government stakeholders, both in Australia and internationally.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support contractual compliance and governance requirements.
• Contribute to governance reviews, reporting and initiatives that strengthen sovereign capability and supply chain resilience.
