Stantec is seeking a Civil Project Technical Lead to drive delivery from concept to construction across major Sydney projects. The role emphasizes technical excellence, mentoring, and strong client engagement to grow the civil business.

You will oversee risk, quality, and financial performance while leading a team of engineers, modellers and drafters to deliver high-quality outcomes across multiple offices.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years’ relevant project technical experience in consulting/engineering
Bachelor-level Civil Engineering qualifications with professional accreditation preferred
Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
Experience in civil-related land development and building projects

Responsibilities

Lead project delivery from concept through construction with technical excellence
Drive business development and client engagement, expanding existing relationships
Oversee project financials including proposals, resourcing, budgeting, profitability
Mentor engineers, modellers and drafters to foster high-performance culture
Ensure quality and compliance through peer reviews and design standards
