Job summary

William Clarke College is seeking dedicated BAASC (Before and After School Care) Assistants to join our College Community on a casual basis. You will provide a high level of care to children at our BAASC Centre and actively support the College's Christian ethos.

The Centre operates Monday to Friday, with shifts 7am-9am and 2:30pm-6:00pm during term time, plus seven weeks of Vacation Care. This is a casual role with no set hours, requiring flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mature and confident approach to engaging with primary school children.
• Availability to work before and after school hours following a roster and short notice shifts.
• Ability to lead children through activities, meals and social interactions.
• Commitment to child safety and wellbeing, transparency and accountability.
• Active support for the College's Christian ethos.
• Regularly practicing member of a Christian church.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of care to children in BAASC Centre.
• Support program delivery for before/after school sessions.
• Work as part of a team under the Co-ordinator of BAASC.
• Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times.
