Job summary

St Philip’s Christian Education Foundation Ltd. invites applications for a Casual Educator at Saints Academy, delivering before/after school care and vacation care with a Christian-centered approach.

You will supervise and engage children, foster wellbeing and belonging, and work with a team to provide safe, high-quality care in line with national standards and child safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Must be committed Christian and actively involved in your Christian church.
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• National Child Safety training certificate (or completed prior to employment) is required.
• Understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality Christian care and education that support children's wellbeing, development, learning, and sense of belonging.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Assist in delivering high-quality before/after school care and vacation care programs aligned with My Time, Our Place (Version 2.0).
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and supervision practices in all activities.
• Adhere to the National Quality Framework (NQF), NQS, Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics, and Child Safe Standards.
