Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland is seeking Care Workers for Community Aged Care across Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounds, with travel to Bundaberg as needed. You will deliver flexible hours, provide personal care, domestic support, social engagement and transportation assistance, following individual care plans with a compassionate, respectful approach.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence with comprehensively insured vehicle.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof as required.
• Relevant probity checks as per WMQ policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, mobility and meals.
• Support domestic tasks such as house cleaning, laundry, ironing and meal prep.
• Provide social and community support and assist with transport to appointments or shopping.
• Follow care plans and report changes in wellbeing to the Coordinator/Case Manager.
• Contribute ideas to improve services and teamwork.
