Collarcare is seeking Cook/Chef professionals to support aged care facilities across Perth Metro WA. The role focuses on delivering nutritious, high-quality meals for residents while maintaining stringent food safety and hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates have prior aged care or healthcare kitchen experience, can manage meals for large groups, and hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Flexible shifts and a supportive team await in a role that values staff wellbeing.

Formación

• Experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
• Experience preparing meals for large groups.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, where required.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents.
• Following menus, recipes and dietary requirements.
• Catering to special dietary needs, allergies, and texture-modified diets.
• Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Following infection control and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Managing kitchen areas and equipment.
• Assisting with stock rotation and monitoring food supplies.
• Minimising food waste and portion control.
• Collaborating with facility staff to create a positive dining experience.
