Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting Workshop Shift Supervisors at CroydonWorkshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £50k. Working Hours: Full time, 14:30 and 19:00 shifts,1 in 3 Saturdays, with a weekday day off.

You will lead operations across a shift, oversee a fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, and ensure safe, efficient workshop performance. A strong H&S focus and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a vehicle technician with leadership responsibilities.
• IMI Level 3 qualification or equivalent required.
• Valid UK driving license; HGV license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift in the workshop, ensuring safety and quality.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Use your toolkit for routine repairs and access specialist tooling in modern workshops.
• Manage stock control and ensure timely completion of work orders and paperwork.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and adherence to health and safety standards.
