Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Workshop Shift Supervisor for CroydonWorkshop on a permanent contract. You will lead a team of technicians, perform inspections and repairs, and ensure safe, efficient workshop operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Experience leading vehicle technicians and communicating technical issues.
• Full UK manual driving licence; HGV preferred.
• Flexible to service demands and shift rota.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations on a shift in line with production planning.
• Deliver weekly team meetings and shift huddles.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Use personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure accurate work orders and vehicle documentation.
