Job summary

The NRMA is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the strategy, lifecycle and governance of our national fleet from our Wetherill Park base. You will drive EV adoption, oversee design, replacement, acquisition and costs while engaging stakeholders across operations, safety and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in fleet management and vehicle lifecycle planning.
• Experience with EVs, hybrid vehicles, emissions reduction and fleet sustainability.
• Ability to develop and deliver fleet strategy while balancing operational priorities.
• Proven leadership experience, coaching and developing small teams.
• Success leading business transformation, change and technology adoption.
• Strong commercial acumen across budgets, contracts and tenders.
• Advanced analytical skills to turn data into insights and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the NRMA fleet strategy and future fleet roadmap.
• Lead EV, hybrid and emerging vehicle technology initiatives.
• Oversee vehicle design, replacement and fit-out programs.
• Manage vehicle acquisition, maintenance, repair and disposal.
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing and contract performance.
• Optimise fleet availability, reliability and lifecycle costs.
• Oversee fleet budgets, business cases and tender processes.
• Provide fleet reporting, insights and performance recommendations.
• Use data to inform investment, maintenance and technology decisions.
• Drive fleet governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships across operations, safety and suppliers.
• Lead, coach and develop the Fleet team.
• Promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
