Thentic in Melbourne is seeking a Fleet Scheduler/Operations Allrounder to manage bookings for a dozen drivers, coordinate deliveries and dispatch, and plan routes for local and overseas movements. You’ll use computer systems daily and handle multiple operational tasks in a fast-paced pharma logistics environment.

Key responsibilities include driver scheduling, route planning, and document checks, with a 6am–2pm shift, Monday to Friday, at the Tullamarine location.

The position

This is a prized role within for a fleet scheduler coordinating the bookings for drivers and deliveries, pick ups and exports of pharma products. You will be an Operations Allrounder using computers daily for bookings, emails and calls, and various operational support duties.

Your main functions will be:

• Scheduling bookings for a fleet of x12 drivers
• Coordinate delivery times and locations for customers
• Scheduling via the computer system
• Plan best routes and paths for drivers
• Organising items for air freight for overseas movements
• Hours 6am to 2pm - Monday to Friday (full time perm role)
• Cross checking all documents and notes
• Tullamarine location near the Airport 5 days a week

The experience needed

To be considered for this role; you ideally have experience in transport bookings, coordinating dispatch, fleet control, and organisational part of transport with drivers where things are leaving depot/warehouse or related setting.
