Job summary

Transport Canberra is recruiting a Spare Parts Supervisor in Canberra, ACT. This full-time permanent role leads a small team to efficiently manage inventory and parts supply that support the fleet services.

You will allocate, supervise and monitor daily activities, coordinate procurement, and ensure stock levels are sufficient to keep operations running with minimal downtime. Strong leadership and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence (C-class) is mandatory.
• Forklift licence (or ability to obtain) is desirable.
• Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or ability to obtain desirable.
• Pre-employment criminal history check will be conducted.
• Pre-employment medical required.
• Visa holders may be considered for permanent or temporary roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee allocation, supervision and monitoring of daily work activities.
• Manage inventory holdings and coordinate procurement and supply of parts.
• Maintain stock levels to support business continuity and minimise downtime.
• Assist with end-of-financial-year stocktake.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
