Job summary

JJR INVESTMENT GROUP PTY LTD T/A JJR LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee fleet operations, maintenance, procurement, utilization and compliance. The role supports freight transportation and distribution activities with a focus on safe, efficient vehicle management and continuous operational improvement.

The position is permanent full-time within the transport and logistics sector, offering opportunities for professional development and career progression

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Fleet Management, Transport Management, Logistics, Automotive Management or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations or commercial vehicle management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet operations including purchase, sale, acquisition, leasing, registration, insurance and replacement of vehicles.
• Develop and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, vehicle servicing and repair activities.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, maintenance expenditure and fleet utilisation.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation and availability to meet freight and delivery requirements.
• Ensure vehicles comply with road transport legislation, safety standards and inspection requirements.
