Job summary

365 Building Solutions Pty Ltd T/A Wilco Plumbing in Mount Vernon, NSW, is seeking a Fleet & Maintenance Manager to oversee the vehicle fleet, maintenance planning and supplier coordination. The role carries significant operational responsibility for company vehicles, safety, compliance and cost management.

The ideal candidate has a relevant diploma or higher in fleet/transport management and 2–3 years in fleet operations, with strong analytical, planning and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Fleet Management, Transport Management, Logistics, Business Management, Automotive/Mechanical Technology or related field.
• 2–3 years in fleet operations or related roles with maintenance coordination.
• Experience coordinating servicing, inspections and repairs to keep fleets reliable.
• Knowledge of vehicle lifecycle, acquisition, disposal and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage costs and liaise with workshops and suppliers.
• Experience maintaining fleet records using relevant systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day vehicle fleet operations to support projects and field operations.
• Plan preventative maintenance, servicing, inspections and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Monitor vehicle condition, utilisation and performance to identify issues.
• Coordinate vehicle acquisition, replacement and disposal based on needs and lifecycle costs.
• Liaise with workshops, dealers, suppliers, insurers and service providers.
• Ensure fleet safety, registrations, insurance and compliance requirements are met.
• Track expenditure on servicing, tyres, fuel and related costs to improve efficiency.
• Maintain fleet records and scheduling for servicing and allocations.
• Coordinate breakdowns and replacement vehicle arrangements to minimise disruption.
