Job summary

Hydro Tasmania is seeking a fleet leader based in Hobart to own the vehicle fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness aligned with sustainability goals. Reporting to the Services Lead, you will drive fleet operations, lead strategic initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise performance and deliver outcomes.

The role focuses on leading fleet management, budgeting and the EV transition with a strong emphasis on cross-functional partnership and innovative service

Qualifications

Experience managing a large and complex vehicle fleet.
Ability to develop and implement strategic fleet initiatives.
Strong budgeting and financial forecasting skills.
Proven stakeholder engagement across multiple business units.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead fleet operations and develop the fleet strategy and service delivery.
Drive the EV transition and fleet optimisation initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders across Hydro Tasmania to deliver high-impact projects.
Manage budgets, forecasting and project outcomes and provide expert advice on fleet operations.
