Job summary

11 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic for a full-time permanent role in Laverton North, VIC 3026. You will inspect, service and repair fleet vehicles to manufacturer specifications, ensuring reliability and safe operation.

The role requires diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance and coordinating with transport schedules. A trade qualification with at least 2 years of hands-on experience is expected; attractive AUD salary + superannuation is offered.

Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience with heavy/commercial vehicles desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturer specifications and manuals.
• Current driver license and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faults in fleet vehicles using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Repair or replace components in engines, brakes, suspension and transmissions.
• Reassemble, test repairs and report unresolved defects before return to service.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety/environmental procedures.
