Labour Recruitment Australia is seeking a dedicated Motor Mechanic in the Melbourne area. The role is full-time with a base salary of $79,435 per year (AUD), plus hourly rate equivalent. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Applicants should hold a trade certificate in mechanics and have at least 1 year of automotive experience, with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Hold trade certificate or qualification in mechanical trade.
• At least 1 year of work experience in the mechanical/automotive industry.

Responsabilités

• Detecting and diagnosing faults in vehicles.
• Dismantling and removing faulty parts.
• Replacing and repairing defective parts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Repairing and replacing transmissions, steering, braking systems and other vehicle parts and components.
• Perform engine overhauls.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.
• Document all repairs, perform repairs to manufacturers specifications.
• Carry out repairs in accordance with job sheet.
• Perform final checks on vehicles.
• Follow occupational health & safety.
