Job summary

Kahlon Bros Transport Pty Ltd is hiring a Fleet Manager in Wauchope, NSW for a full-time permanent role. You will plan and manage purchase, leasing and sale of fleet vehicles and coordinate maintenance and fuel planning to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in logistics related fields, at least 1 year in fleet management, and knowledge of transport regulations. HR licence is desirable and you will work with drivers and clients to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Logistics, Transport Management, Business or related field.
• At least 1 year of paid work experience in fleet management or transport operations management.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance planning, fleet cost control and dispatch.
• Current Australian driver licence; HR licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise purchase, leasing and sale of trucks, trailers and fleet vehicles.
• Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repairs with workshops and supplier purchases.
• Manage vehicle registration, insurance, and roadworthiness inspections.
• Liaise with clients to understand freight and transport requirements.
• Receive and process transport orders and bookings.
• Prepare operational reports and fleet cost statements for directors.
