Job summary

Boretech Contracting Pty is seeking an experienced Fleet & Plant Manager to oversee the management, maintenance and operational readiness of a 250+ fleet of plant and equipment. Based at the Balcatta Head Office with time at the Lansdale yard, you will ensure compliance, availability and cost-effective utilisation across FIFO projects.

• Experience as Fleet Manager.
• Experience with maintenance management programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant and equipment requirements across projects with Metropolitan and FIFO Operations Managers.
• Schedule servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs with yard personnel and mechanics.
• Oversee fleet maintenance programs to minimise downtime and maximise reliability.
• Monitor plant movements, equipment availability and utilisation across projects.
• Manage breakdowns, repairs and external maintenance providers.
• Maintain accurate plant registers, servicing records, inspections and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate plant mobilisation and demobilisation between projects.
• Monitor maintenance expenditure and identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with fleet procurement, replacement planning and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure plant and equipment meets safety, operational and legislative requirements.

Boretech Contracting is seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet & Plant Manager to oversee the management, maintenance and operational readiness of an extensive fleet of 250+ items of plant and equipment. Working closely with Metropolitan and FIFO Operations Managers, yard personnel and mechanics, you will play a key role in ensuring the fleet is maintained, compliant, efficiently utilised and available to meet project requirements across operations. Based out of the Head Office in Balcatta and spending time where needed at the yard in Lansdale.

Key responsibilities

Liaise closely with Metropolitan and FIFO Operations Managers to coordinate plant and equipment requirements across projects

Coordinate with yard personnel and mechanics to schedule servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs
