Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Fleet Finance Team Leader to join our Head Office team in Tullamarine, Victoria, on a full-time basis. You will oversee end-to-end processing of fleet sales, payouts, and collections, reporting to the Fleet Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, reconciliations, liaising with finance companies, and guiding a dynamic team through audits and ongoing projects in a globally recognized brand.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (or working towards).
• Prior admin or finance-related experience is advantageous.
• Experience with multiple finance systems is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic accounting, credit and collection principles.
• High attention to detail.

• Support audits and undertake special projects as directed by the Fleet Finance Manager.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

• Degree qualified or working towards in Finance, Accounting or Business
• Previous administration or finance related experience is advantageous
• Experience working with different systems is highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet timelines
• Basic accounting, credit and collection principles
• High attention to detail

Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: "If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?". His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar.
