Job summary

Europcar Australia is seeking a dedicated Fleet Support Coordinator to join our Fleet team at our Head Office in Tullamarine, Victoria. The role covers remarketing, fleet registration control, and various administrative duties within a dynamic environment.

You will coordinate vehicle registration, process end-of-life costs, and support fleet procurement while maintaining accurate fleet systems and contributing to a high-performing team. Hybrid work and staff benefits are part of the role.

Job Description Europcar Australia are seeking a dedicated Fleet Support Coordinator to join our Fleet team located at our Head Office in Tullamarine, Victoria on a full time basis! This position requires a talented individual who can effectively handle the remarketing process, control fleet registration and other administrative areas.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Administering wreck sales, salvage liaison, and vehicle reconciliation
• Managing vehicle key logistics and conducting annual audits
• Coordinating vehicle registration and compliance processes
• Overseeing staff vehicle and fuel card management
• Supporting roadside assistance tasks and cost allocations
• Processing stolen/recovered vehicle documentation
• Managing vehicle blocks/unblocks and registration tracking
• Loading equipment (e.g., GPS, child seats) for AU/NZ fleets
• Assisting with lease/dealer relationships and procurement activities
• Handling purchase orders, invoice processing, and end-of-life costs
• Maintaining accuracy across fleet systems
• Supporting and assisting other areas of the Fleet Department

To be considered, you should possess:

• Previous experience in fleet / administration is highly desirable
• Background in car rental / travel and tourism industry
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
• Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Well organised and great attention to detail

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in 1898, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: “If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?”. His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created \"L'Abonnement Automobile\": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar.
