Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Fleet Accounts Controller to drive financial accountability across the national fleet portfolio. You’ll oversee end-to-end expenditure, strengthen controls, and deliver data-driven insights for informed decision making.

Working with Fleet, Finance, Procurement and operations, you’ll identify cost-saving opportunities and advance reporting with automation and digital tools. A commerce/finance degree and CPA/CA are valued, as is experience in budgeting and variance

Qualifications

• Experience in financial control, cost management or a similar finance role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance; CPA/CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of fleet expenditure and governance.
• Analyse expenditure trends and provide actionable insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across the fleet.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve processes.
