Job summary

Appoint Recruit is partnering with a Gold Coast operation to appoint an Asset & Maintenance Manager for a significant fleet of trucks, dozers, excavators and related assets. The role focuses on hands-on leadership, maintenance planning, and lifecycle decisions across mobile and fixed assets.

You will lead maintenance across the asset base, manage contractors and data-driven performance, and collaborate with site managers to align priorities and fleet upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience managing maintenance across fixed plant, infrastructure and mobile assets.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, suppliers and maintenance activities.
• Sound commercial judgement across reliability, lifecycle planning and asset replacement.
• Experience using CMMS/asset systems and data to drive performance.
• Solutions-focused leadership with strong stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the asset base.
• Manage maintenance contractors, suppliers and compliance requirements.
• Improve fleet reliability, availability and maintenance performance.
• Manage maintenance expenditure and asset lifecycle decisions.
• Maintain accurate asset and maintenance systems.
• Partner with Site Managers and senior leadership on priorities, renewal and upgrades.
