Mackay Regional Council is seeking an experienced Planning & Reliability Lead to establish a new asset planning and reliability function within our Mobile Assets Program. Reporting to the Executive Manager Mobile Assets, you will develop the frameworks, governance, reporting, reliability methodologies and lifecycle strategies that will support one of regional Queensland's most diverse fleet portfolios.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building systems, processes and frameworks that improve reliability and asset performance.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries such as mining, resources, utilities, transport, or rail is advantageous.
• Ability to lead a new function and drive governance and reporting.

Aufgaben

• Develop fleet maintenance planning and reliability frameworks
• Establish asset health monitoring and condition-based maintenance programs
• Drive lifecycle planning and risk-based replacement strategies
• Develop meaningful asset performance, downtime and reliability reporting
• Define data requirements and decision-support frameworks
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across fleet maintenance and asset management
• Provide leadership and technical direction to specialist staff
