Job summary

Destec Contracting in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to support maintenance of fixed plant crushers in mining sites. You will focus on proactive maintenance and contribute to upgrades on site, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Casual roles offered with two weeks on, one week off, and potential for full-time opportunities. Required qualifications include a recognised Mechanical Fitter trade, a valid licence, and willingness to work day and night

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Current valid Driver's Licence.
• High Risk - EWP Ticket (desirable).
• Current Working at Heights Qualification.
• Current Confined Space Entry Qualification.
• Previous experience & knowledge in Fixed Plant mining equipment and environments.
• Experience with crushing and screening plants highly desirable.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Proactive preventative maintenance of fixed plant crushers.
• Work on upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
