Job summary

Destec is recruiting for Fixed Plant Electricians on a casual basis in the Northern Goldfields, WA, working a 2 on, 1 off roster. The role focuses on preventative maintenance of crushers and upgrades to existing infrastructure, with shifts available day and night.

Casual hourly rate is $82.67 and superannuation is paid on all hours worked. Applicants should hold current First Aid/LVR & CPR, a valid driver’s licence, and relevant safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid / LVR & CPR required.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• High Risk - EWP ticket desirable.
• Current Working at Heights qualification required.
• Current Confined Space Entry qualification required.
• Experience with fixed plant mining equipment and environments preferred.
• Experience with crushing and screening plants is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive preventative maintenance on fixed plant crushers.
• Assist with upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Work across day and night shifts as required.
