Job summary

Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd in WA is seeking an Electrician with mining experience to join our mobile and fixed plant operations. You will plan and perform electrical maintenance, ensure compliance with AS3000 and mine-site rules, and fault-find across crushers, conveyors, and gensets.

Applicants should hold an Australian Recognised Electrical Trade Certificate, current WA electrical license, senior first aid, and relevant high-risk licenses; driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Current WA Electrical License.
• Senior First Aid Certificate (LVR, CPR).
• National Police Clearance within the last 12 months.
• Other Mobile Plant and High-Risk Work Licenses.
• Front End Loader / Skid Steer Ticket and Experience.
• Current driving license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct electrical maintenance activities.
• Comply with AS3000 wiring rules and regulations.
• Comply with mine site electrical regulations.
• Comply with Isolation Procedures.
• Fault finding on Jaw, Cone Crushers, Stackers, Conveyors and Gensets.
• Familiar with relay logic controls, DOL starters, Soft starters, Variable speed drives.
• Work safely by following correct safety procedures and practices.
• General labouring and housekeeping as required.
• Support other team members as required.
