Regional Group Australia Pty Ltd in Queensland is seeking skilled Fitters General to join the team. The roles are full-time with three positions available, offering a total package of $85,000–$95,000 per year.

You will maintain diesel equipment, perform inspections and preventive maintenance, fault finding and repairs on diesel and petrol engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, steering and transmissions, while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel and petrol engines preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Fault finding, repairs and services on diesel and petrol engines and fuel systems.
• Pre delivery inspection and workshop repairs.
• Liaise with spare parts to determine parts required for repairs.
• Complete repair and service documentation daily.
• Work safely with PPE and comply with OSH requirements.

Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for skilled Fitters General to join the team in QLD. You are expected to maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

$85,000 - $95,000 a year

Critical Responsibilities

• Workshop repairs and maintenance
• New machine pre delivery preparation and inspection
• Customer satisfaction
• Safety / Quality
• Cross functional support

Main Responsibilities

Fault finding, repairs and services including but not limited to:

• Diesel and petrol engines
• Diesel, petrol and LPG fuel systems
• Steering systems
• Transmissions – hydrostatic, powershift and manual
• Brake systems
• Hydraulic valves and cylinders
• Electrical starting, charging and accessories
• Service and diagnostic repairs
• Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
• To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
• To process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
• Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
• Other duties as directed
