Job summary

MILDURA HYDRAULICS PTY LTD in Mildura is seeking dedicated Fitters to join the team, working in both workshop and field servicing forklifts and warehousing equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and battery issues, operate diagnostic tools, and adhere to OH&S practices; the role requires 3+ years of trade experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute to a diverse equipment fleet.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant trade qualifications in the role.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written communication and basic computer skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and battery faults.
• Operate diagnostic tools and adjust parameters as needed.
• Change solid forklift tires using a hydraulic tire press.
