Job summary

The successful applicant will contribute to fitting, turning, fabrication, assembly and testing of heat exchangers, while reading drawings and ensuring quality in a safety-focused workshop.

Ideal candidates hold a trade qualification as a fitter/turner/fabricator and have welding experience. Preference for TIG/MIG welding and ability to read P&ID drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience in fitting, turning and fabrication of industrial components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Preferably with TIG/MIG welding experience.
• Understanding of P&ID drawings is advantageous.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, turning and fabrication work for heat exchangers and associated equipment.
• Production, assembly and testing of heat exchangers.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to guide fabrication.
• General workshop duties as required.
• Tube rolling and tube expansion of heat exchangers (highly regarded).

The successful applicant will be involved in the manufacture, assembly, and repair of industrial heat exchangers and associated equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Fitting, turning, and fabrication work
• Production, assembly, and testing of heat exchangers
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• General workshop duties as required
• Tube rolling and tube expansion of heat exchangers (highly regarded)
