Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power in Contarf is seeking a skilled Fitter Machinist to join our team. You will repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders, strip and measure components, and assemble and test completed cylinders.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience rebuilding cylinders, solid understanding of cylinder clearances, and knowledge of machining and welding in remanufacturing. Safety, accuracy, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders.
• Solid grasp of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances.
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process, including machining and welding.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong communication.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic experience is a bonus.
