Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power Australia in Clontarf is seeking a Fitter Machinist to repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders across a range of applications. You will strip, measure, inspect and rebuild components, then assemble and test completed cylinders.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant trade qualification and have hands-on experience with cylinder remanufacture, machining and welding. Attention to detail and clear communication are essential; fault-finding skills are a bonus.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification is essential.
• Hands-on experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances.
• Knowledge of remanufacture processes including machining and welding.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing

About You

• A relevant trade qualification (essential)
• Hands-on experience stripping and rebuilding cylinders
• A solid grasp of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process, including machining and welding
• Sharp attention to detail and strong communication
• Fault-finding and diagnostic experience is a bonus

This role pays between $47.00–$50.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
