Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power in Clontarf, Australia is seeking a Fitter Machinist to join our team. You'll repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders across a range of applications, strip and inspect components, and prepare them for rebuild.

You will assemble and test completed cylinders, take part in toolbox talks, and keep the workshop safe and tidy. The role emphasises hands-on machining, welding, and precise tolerance work, with strong communication and fault-finding valued.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances.
• Understanding of the re-manufacture process, including machining and welding.
• Sharp attention to detail and strong communication.
• Fault-finding and diagnostic experience is a bonus.
