North East Water is seeking an Aboriginal Partnerships & Strategy Officer based in Wodonga to lead and support partnerships with Traditional Owners and First Nations groups. The role focuses on culturally safe engagement, policy development and embedding First Nations commitments into infrastructure planning.

You will manage relationships, progress cultural initiatives, and liaise with government and communities to advance water management outcomes across the North East region.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with and/or supporting local First Nations communities with a commitment to cultural safety.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and communicate sensitively.
• Experience facilitating collaboration and applying change management and capacity-building techniques.
• Experience in strategic planning, policy development and project management.
