Job summary

Saltbush in Tennant Creek seeks a part-time mentor to support the REAL Program. You will provide culturally safe, trauma-informed guidance to empower participants to pursue education, employment and community reconnection.

The role is a fixed-term 0.5 FTE with travel to Saltbush service locations, offering $80k–$85k pro rata plus 12% super, salary packaging and five weeks of annual leave.

Job description

Saltbush is seeking a First Nations male mentor to support the REAL Program in Tennant Creek. The role provides culturally safe, trauma-informed guidance to empower participants to pursue education, employment and community reconnection.

The position is part-time (0.5 FTE), fixed term (1 April 2026 - 30 June 2030) in Tennant Creek with occasional travel to other Saltbush service locations. Remuneration is $80k–$85k pro rata + 12% super, salary packaging and 5 weeks annual leave.
