Job summary

Create NSW is seeking a driven First Nations Program Delivery Officer to help coordinate grants and initiatives across NSW, focusing on First Nations artists and communities. This Identified role emphasizes collaborative program delivery, governance, and engagement with government and cultural partners.

You will work within a dynamic team to ensure transparent, compliant program delivery, manage grant processes, and support continuous improvement in First Nations opportunities across the sector.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contemporary grants management practices, ideally within a government environment.
• Experience using grants management systems such as OneGMS, SmartyGrants or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting projects or programs from planning and coordination through to implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear program materials, reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of First Nations programs aligned with NSW Government priorities.
• Coordinate grants administration activities, including applications, assessments, contracting, monitoring and acquittals.
• Provide project and program support, including plans, documentation and reports for monitoring and evaluation.
• Build positive relationships with government, industry partners, organisations and communities.
• Undertake research to support engagement with First Nations creative communities and inform program delivery.
