Job summary

Create NSW is seeking a First Nations Program Delivery Officer to support grants delivery and coordination for First Nations programs across NSW. You will work with internal teams, government partners, organisations and communities to ensure transparent, efficient program delivery and positive outcomes.

You will coordinate grants processes, prepare plans and reports, and contribute to governance and evaluation activities while upholding government requirements and cultural engagement principles.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contemporary grants management practices, ideally within a government environment.
• Experience using grants management systems such as OneGMS, SmartyGrants or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting projects or programs from planning and coordination through to implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and delivery of First Nations programs aligned with NSW Government priorities.
• Coordinate grants administration activities including applications, assessments, contracting and acquittals.
• Prepare plans, documentation and reports for monitoring and evaluation.
• Build positive relationships with government, partners and communities to support engagement and outcomes.
• Provide information and respond to enquiries, escalating issues when needed.
• Contribute to governance, assurance activities and program documentation.
