Job summary

EnergyCo is seeking two Managers, First Nations Project Engagement to lead Aboriginal engagement across Hunter Transmission and New England REZ projects. Hybrid work and travel across NSW is required, with base options in Sydney, Newcastle, Hunter or New England regions.

The roles are identified Aboriginal positions and run until late 2029/early 2030. You will partner with RAPs, Aboriginal organisations and delivery partners to embed cultural heritage considerations in project planning,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel to regional locations and to work outside standard business hours when required.
• Aboriginal identity is an essential requirement of the role under NSW law.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aboriginal engagement and participation activities across major renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
• Build strong, on‑the‑ground relationships with Aboriginal communities and RAPs.
• Support partners to meet Aboriginal engagement, participation and cultural heritage commitments and targets.
