Reporting to the “Head of” you will be responsible for implementing strategic direction to deliver Community, Regional and First Nations engagement. This is a high-impact, operational role, you will manage a pipeline of projects and lead a small team, acting as the primary face of projects in regional communities. You will work with, review and implement the business’ community engagement framework, to effectively demonstrate our client’s commitment to engagement whilst maintaining their reputation. You will:
5 – 10 years’ experience with complex stakeholder requirements, particularly around environmental and social impacts of renewable energy projects in regional areas and a willingness to travel. Utility scale Solar and/or BESS backgrounds are ideal, but energy generation infrastructure experience will also be considered. You also have experience in developing and managing community development programmes and initiatives. Cultural heritage and indigenous engagement experience and familiarity with project management practices.
