Job summary

Corroboree Talent is seeking an Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Cultural Representative to support First Nations clients and families through culturally informed engagement and services. Flexible part-time role (approx. 3 days/week) with a pro-rata salary of $92,000–$104,000 plus super.

Work within a multidisciplinary team, strengthen clients' connection to culture and identity, and collaborate with Elders and service providers to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities.
• Current Working With Vulnerable People registration.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support First Nations clients to strengthen cultural identity, connection and wellbeing.
• Facilitate cultural activities, groups and community engagement initiatives.
• Build relationships with Elders, community organisations and support services.
• Participate in support planning and service coordination activities.
• Advocate for culturally safe and inclusive practices.
• Provide cultural guidance and support to staff and stakeholders.
• Contribute to positive outcomes for clients, families and communities.
