NSW Treasury is seeking an Associate Economist (Aboriginal Targeted) to join the First Nations Economic Wellbeing team in Sydney. You will contribute to economic advice, analyse policy issues and support briefs, reports and submissions with a focus on First Nations perspectives.

Qualificações

• Ability to undertake basic research and analyse data, models and diverse perspectives under supervision.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain routine technical information in plain English.
• Sound judgement, curiosity and willingness to seek input, share ideas and solve problems.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to high-quality economic advice and policy analysis informing microeconomic policy development.
• Assess economic, financial, legal and administrative impacts of proposals.
• Prepare briefs, Ministerial correspondence, reports and submissions; monitor milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve Treasury outcomes.
