Job summary

NSW Treasury seeks an Associate Director, Inclusion in the People and Talent team to lead the deployment and refinement of the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy across the organisation and beyond. You will drive roadmaps, frameworks and evaluation while fostering partnerships with Aboriginal communities, employees and government stakeholders.

You will provide expert policy guidance, prepare briefs for executive decision-making, and support reporting requirements to inform government

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, developing, delivering and evaluating diversity, inclusion and belonging strategies in a complex organisational environment.
• Experience developing culture, engagement, talent management and leadership development programs.
• Experience managing complex D&I programs with multi-level stakeholders.
• Experience developing First Nations employment and engagement initiatives.
• Inclusive leadership practices with ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience reporting on lead and lag indicators to track progress.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, evaluation and refinement of DIB strategy, roadmaps, policies and programs.
• Provide expert, evidence-based advice on government diversity policy positions.
• Prepare reports, briefs and position papers for executive decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships with employee groups, Aboriginal communities and government partners.
• Support RAP commitments and diversity priorities across Treasury.
