• Ongoing, Clerk Grade 11/12 ($154,231 - $178,369 per annum) opportunity based in Martin Place, Sydney

About the Role

You will join the Economic and Analysis team within Investment NSW, where curiosity, innovation and analytical rigour, combine to deliver real-world outcomes for communities, businesses and regions across the state.

As Associate Director, Economic Policy, you will lead complex research and analysis on issues that matter to the future of NSW. You'll identify emerging risks and opportunities. You'll shape policy options and provide trusted advice to senior leaders across government. Your work will help ensure investment, industry and economic policy decisions are grounded in rigorous analysis and real world insights.

This is an opportunity to lead a team of economists delivering research that influences policy, informs decision makers and helps drive economic growth across the state.

• Economic Research & Analysis: Demonstrated experience applying economic principles, conducting complex research and analysing data to develop policy options and recommendations
• Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams while delivering quality outcomes in dynamic and fast-paced environments
• Strategic Policy & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong capability in policy development, project management and influencing stakeholders across government, industry and external organisations

Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($154,231 - $178,369) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading
