Job summary

Maxima invites applications for a Full-Time Traineeship in Brisbane, combining paid employment with completion of a Certificate III in Business or Financial Services. You will work in a branch, earn while you learn, and receive mentoring from a Maxima Consultant.

The program starts in a welcoming team focused on First Nations employment and culturally safe practices. As a Trainee, you will greet customers, assist with transactions, promote digital banking, and provide informed advice.

Qualifications

• Must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Certificate III in Business or Financial Services preferred for traineeship.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and offer exceptional service.
• Assist with bank transactions, cash handling and savings needs.
• Educate customers on digital banking services.
• Provide relevant advice to customers.
• Follow-up customer enquiries as needed.

• Work Full Time in a branch locally. Brown’s Plains.

• Receive mentoring and support from a specialised and experienced Maxima Consultant.

The Role:

As aTrainee, you will provide exceptional service to customers, across a number of areas in the bank from telling through to concierge.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome customers and offer exceptional service
• Assist with bank transactions, cash handling and savings needs
• Educate customers on digital banking services
• Provide relevant advice to customers
• Follow-up customer enquiries, delegating where required

• Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
• Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
